So, this is the month where I am absolutely in love with all the books on my TBR… and unable to get to half of them because of all the wonderful book festivals and other activities going on!
I’ve read five books of poetry (including Andrea Gibson’s You Better Be Lightning and Amanda Gorman’s Call Us What We Carry) and one novel (The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner) thus far, and am in the middle of another 500-page novel at the moment, making this by far my slowest reading month this year. But I’m also having fun at my local book festivals and autumn fairs and other spooky season festivities, and super excited to finish an essay I’ve been working on! So, bear with me.
